My commitment to the cause
I began You Could Teach because changing careers into education is my story.
After a 4 year stint teaching after graduating from Kent State, (which I didn't like very much) I left the field, earned an MBA and spent 18 years in the IT industry. In my mid 40s I was drawn back into education. It was the best career move I could have made. I loved the next 15 years of my career and felt needed appreciated and valued every day. Every day I spent in the classroom was better than any day I spent in the corporate world.
I want to encourage others to do the same. Change Careers. Experience the satisfaction of making a difference. Have a career with great personal and professional balance. Change Lives.

The You Could Teach fund is administered by the Northern Cincinnati Foundation, a qualified 501 (c 3) organization. The Foundation will assure that your donations are 100% tax deductible, handle tax documents, and send the necessary paperwork for your own tax records. This partnership allows us at You Could Teach to focus on our goals without being burdened with paperwork. While the Northern Cincinnati foundation has a local footprint, we can distribute scholarship funds anywhere in the USA to qualified candidates.
